The Brahman Story
The Brahman breed originated in India and was developed in the United States through the cross-breeding of several Zebu breeds — Guzerá, Nelore, Gir, Krishna Valley, and Indubrasil. Created at the beginning of the 20th century, it was designed to thrive in tropical and subtropical climates, with high resistance to parasites, elevated temperatures, and the ability to cover large areas of arid terrain.
The Brahman arrived in Brazil in 1994, following regulatory changes promoted by the Association of Brazilian Zebu Breeders (ABCZ) and the American Brahman Breeders Association (ABBA). Recognized for its intelligence, docility, and adaptability, the Brahman is an economic breed that stands out for its ease of handling and rapid response to human interaction. Its name means "a new cycle" — a reflection of its capacity to adapt and prosper in any environment.
This blend carries that same spirit. Just as the Brahman ox prospers in difficult terrain, the burrito herb brings freshness and resilience — a combination of robustness and renewal in every sip.
